Gavin Whelan - a professional footballers addition to ASI

ASI now has a newly appointed Global Sales Manager - Gavin Whelan.

Born in 1983 into a family steeped in international soccer tradition. Grandfather, Ronnie Whelan Sr., more than 400 games in Ireland, capped twice.

Father, Paul Whelan, more than 500 professional games.

Uncle, Ronnie Whelan, more than 350 professional games for Liverpool FC, six English League Championships, three English League Cups, two FA Cups, one European Cup. Capped 53 times for Ireland, played in two World Cups – 1990 and 1994. 
 
Gavin himself played more than 150 professional soccer gamesin Ireland and was Man-of-the-Match in 2005 FAI Senior Cup with Drogheda Utd.

Having spent the summer in LA where he oversaw the roadshow in conjuntion with US distributors Sportcraft, Gavin who is based in Dublin, will be responsible for all worldwide sales and in particular the launch of the new iLite.  His first week was spent touring the southern UK carrying out demonstrations along with local clubs, leagues and retailers of the new innovative product.

Gavin was accompanied by GM Peter Rose who said "We welcome the addition of Gavin to the team, he has great enthusiam aswell as experience in both football and sales and passionately believes in the benefits of the rigid air technology products can bring to our customers"
